The AMA Superbike Championship launched in 1976, with roots going back another 52 years, the AMA Superbike Championship is America’s premier road-race series. In three decades of competition, it has become the world’s most prestigious and successful national stage for production-based motorcycle competition and proudly boasts 15 U.S. racers who went on to win a combined 30 world championships.
